Section 1: Review (Approx 150 words) |
|
| During my time on this course I feel that I have improved my set of photography skills in many ways, such as working on a previous project where I experimented with film look along with cornish tin mines around my area.
With all of my past projects I have tried to experiment with at least one new technique to try and broaden and improve my skill set, but also trying to hone in on a style and aesthetic that I like and will continue to try and reliably produce. After this course I plan to take a commercial photography course which will hopefully be different to this course, in that I will improve the skills needed to produce work for a client, whilst also still working towards what the client has requested, much like the briefs we get set on the current course. something that I feel I could improve on. |

Section 2: Project Concept (approx 250 words) |
|
| The basic concept for this project is experimenting with 360 degree photos and panoramic photos in both analog and digital media. I decided to base my project around this as I haven’t done much with this before and I felt it would be challenging. I have also decided to put a figure in these panoramics so it wouldn’t be quite as boring if I didn’t whilst also adding some splash of colour to the image, rather than the normal greens and brown tones that come with landscape photography.
The final concept for my piece is that I would like to get the models to choose a location that they felt was a safe place, or close to them in some way. In doing this I hope to gain perspective on how much a place can mean to a person. I also plan to ask the subjects a few questions that I can use in my evaluations or as quotes to go alongside the image at a summer show. I would also like to use subjects that I know very well as I feel that it would be easier to organize shoots, and also easier to ask borderline personal questions where I can get a truthful answer. |

Section 3: Evaluation (approx 100 words) |
|
| To help to produce context and help me keep track of how well ive done I hope to
produce evaluations of every shoot, whilst also providing infprmation for me on how well ive shot the images camera side, and how well ive edited them digitally to help me improve and criticise myself on what I feel I could improve to try and help me develop my skill as a photographer. |
